We recommend you to Box, Cushion, Label and Seal your shipments by following some simple steps. It will help you ensure your shipment contents are secure. Let’s get started!

1. Choose Quality

Find a box which matches the size and weight of the item(s) you are sending.
Use double-walled boxes for heavier items.
If you are reusing a box, remove all old labels, and make sure it's high-quality, with no hole, tear, or dent.

  • 1. CHOOSE QUALITY

2. Avoid Empty Space

Too much padding reduces stacking strength. Avoid boxes that are too big for their contents, as they risk getting crushed.

Choose cushioning with enough density to keep items from shifting. Bind printed material together. Wrap and tape all sharp or protruding edges.

  • 2. AVOID EMPTY SPACE

3. Boxes Over 35 kgs

We can accept boxes up to 68 kg without a pallet, and we recommend you to put a "heavy" label on boxes over 35 kg.

  • 3. HEAVY BOXES

4. Seal With an H

Use the ‘H’ shape taping method when sealing your box.
The tape should be at least 5CM wide and applied equally across the box edges.
Please note: Duct tape and masking tape are NOT suitable for taping boxes.

  • 4. SEAL WITH AN H

5. Label Clearly

Remove old labels.
Affix the FedEx Air Way Bill (AWB) label on the largest surface of the box.
For pouches, peel off the strip and seal the flap.
We also recommend you to put a copy of the label inside and write pertinent shipper/recipient details on the inner package flap.

  • 5. LABEL CLEARLY

Imperfect packaging puts your goods, other shipments, and our FedEx team members at risk. Your shipment must comply with our condition of carriage. Drivers are allowed to refuse packaging such as:

Damaged boxes
No punctured, crushed or otherwise damaged boxes.

Wet boxes
No wet, leaking or water-damaged boxes.

Unsuitable packaging
No heavy items in weak boxes. Boxes must be of sufficient strength, quality and size. If necessary, use strapping to strengthen your box.

Over 68 kg
Boxes heavier than 68 kg must be palletized.
